Overview :: Planning :: Implementation :: Evaluation

Evaluation of supportive services is easiest when the desired outcome of the service is clear. A logic model can guide the design process, leading to simplicity and clarity for everyone involved. It is important that the service recipients be involved in determining the most important outcomes for them. This helps the organization focus on what is really needed and desired by those they serve. Sometimes the outcomes most desirable for the service recipients aren't the same as those for the provider. It is ok to include both sets of outcomes if everyone is involved in the design.
